Dr. Rami Tawil

Dr Rami Tawil graduated from with a Bachelor’s degree in complementary medicine and a Masters degree in clinical Chiropractic from RMIT University in Melbourne. Rami also speaks Arabic in addition to English and is available for appointments with Arabic patients.

His passion for Chiropractic and natural medicine began after his uncle started seeing a Chiropractor for a chronic neck injury. He was in pain on a daily basis, was unable to sleep properly and couldn’t perform his daily activities. After attending other health professionals, he found Chiropractic was the one that took a different approach that focused on treating the cause and not the symptom. This inspired Rami to complete the 5 year degree and he has never looked back!

Rami started working in country Victoria upon graduation with the Todd’s Chiropractic group. During his time there, he undertook a holistic approach with his patients while addressing their presenting symptoms. This allowed his patients to better achieve their activities of daily living. Rami believes that to assist our bodies in reaching their optimum performance levels and functioning capability it is not only important to focus on the pain itself, but also evaluate and address any underlying issues that may be contributing to the pain.

Rami’s patients range professional sports players, everyday working people and the elderly. He has a special interest working with neurological-musculo-skeletal conditions, which led him to undertake further studies in functional neurology through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. In addition to his clinical practice, Rami has completed several hundred hours working with professional footballers in the Gippsland league and internationally with the Palestinian women’s national soccer team where his wife plays.

In his free time, Rami enjoys physical activity and being outdoors as well as spending time with his wife and family. He is passionate about his crime books and watching as much sport as possible. Rami is registered with Chiropractor’s Association of Australia (CAA) and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Rami is fluent in both the English and Arabic Languages.

Rami is available for consultations in South Morang on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; and in Melton Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
